报告简介It is very challenging to simulate complex geomechanical systems which may involve multi-phase multi-scale processes. Here we show how to model these problems with suitable modern numerical methods. Our talk will also cover the fundamental ideas of these methods (Lattice Boltzmann Method, Discrete Element Method, Material Point Method, Random Walking Method) as well as their limitations.

张沛博士,昆士兰大学博士后,长期从事多相多尺度复杂系统的模拟技术开发,以及流体-颗粒、流体-结构相互作用机理研究。主持和参与开源模拟项目2项,成果已被澳大利亚、法国、哥伦比亚、英国、德国、美国等国的多所研究机构应用。
